Porta Finance advises AL Holdingas on the sale of Šviesa

AL Holdingas will divest its shareholding in the educational publishing business Šviesa to Zabolis Partners, Lithuania based investment group. Šviesa is the leading textbook, workbook and supplementary educational materials publisher in Lithuania.

Porta Finance acted as sole financial adviser to AL Holdingas from preparation to execution of the divestment process. Porta Finance continues to advise AL Holdingas on other divestment processes.

AL Holdingas owns, among other businesses, the leading general publishing business Alma Littera, leading omnichannel bookstore chain Pegasas, online bookstore Knygų Klubas, small parcel focused logistics business ALG Logistika, pan-Baltic Reader’s Digest direct marketing business operating under Didysis Žaidimas - Grand Prix and Home Club brands.

The transaction is subject to receipt of clearance from the Competition Council of Lithuania.
